Ordinary seaman Arthur Kempster P/SSX 27412 k.i.a. 14/10/1939 aged 19 he is remembered at the Portsmouth Memorial Panel 34 Column 1 . Boy 1 Fred Hughes P/JX157826 k.i.a. 14/10/1939 H.M.S. Royal Oak aged 17 he is remembered at the Portsmouth Memorial Panel 34 Column 2. Gwynne Edwards survived.
Steward John Howard k.i.a. 17/10/1939 aged 50. S.S. Yorkshire he is remembered at the Tower Hill Memorial London Panel 120 . Sadly his son Edward J Howard Mess Boy in the S.S. Creekirk was k.i.a. 19/10/1940 aged 17 he is remembered at the Tower Hill Memorial London Panel 33 .
